MIT - Marina

The MIT Shakespeare Shakespeare Ensemble is doing a play called Marina, adapted from Shakespeare's Pericles. Here's the summary from their website:

A child born on a storm-tossed ship, a princess abducted by pirates, and a long-lost daughter reunited with her parents: Marina, Princess of Tyre.

Join us on a journey to Ancient Greece as our narrator, John Gower, takes us though the “true” story of Marina’s life. Separated from her parents at birth, Marina must survive betrayal from her foster family while staying true to herself. However, Gower may not always be telling us the whole truth... Work with us to explore how stories are corrupted by those who tell them -- in Marina’s world and in ours.

Marina is adapted from Shakespeare’s Pericles and George Lillo’s Marina.
